All of the photos posted in this blog come from flickr. We don’t claim ownership of the photos, never have. Every photo we post links back to the original page at flickr and states who the author.
The only purpose of this blog is to make a nice list of nice and beautiful girls (sensual and sexy are two other descriptive adjectives that fit our selection) that are posted in flickr. However, we do try to keep a level of quality (technical quality of the photo and theme of the photo), to post only the best. Again, we don’t want to make a list of any kind of photo we find, but only the best. As we respect the authors’ work, we try to maintain a good level, and don’t fall into posting porn photos, because we don’t want to offend anyone (it’s not nice to post a photo of someone that took the time to work on it next to a photo of a blurry photo of a crotch, right?).
Due to the amount of photos we post everyday, we haven’t being asking for permission, that’s true. However, we immediately remove all photos when the authors request so. We do however notify the author that his photo has been posted here (we leave a comment in every photo posted).
The blog has existed for a while, with about 800 photos posted now, and 1200 posted before it got deleted by blogger the first time. During all this time, less than 10 authors have requested as to remove their photos. We’ve removed them, and never post photos from the same person again. From those photographers, two were angry about it, and most have requested it very kindly (people tend to react to kind emails way better than to angry ones). It may seem funny, but we’ve even been ask if we could remove the photo (of course we could and will and should and must, it’s your photo, it’s your work). Either way, we really don’t want to make photographers angry.
We’re happy with the general reaction of flickr users to this site: we’ve received a kind “thank you for posting my work”, or “thank you, that’s so nice” from the models (ho happen to be the photographers as well) a lot of times. We are receiving regular request from authors to post their photos here. Overall, the possitive reactions have been greater than the negative ones.
But again, if your photo has been posted here, and you want it removed, please let us know via flickr message (my username is posted in the comments of your photos), or send an email to fbabes -at- gmail.com. It’d be great if you could specify the titles or links of the photos we used, as blogger doesn’t really provide tools to search for a specific photo, so we have to go search page by page. (as we are moving to another host, the new blog will have tools to request removal immediately).
On the other hand, if you are happy with us posting your photos here, and we can help in any way, please let us know. We’ve added links back to some photographers site in the right sidebar. I’m sure this means they are getting a little bit more visitors thanks to us.
A while back there was an issue were several sites got blocked by flickr because they displayed advertisments. Flickrbabes was one of them. Though you might not believe me, the only reason I did that was to see if I could get money to pay for a better host. Most of the ads didn’t work anyways.
Flickr allowed us to have one box of google ads. This isn’t making money either (it’s not 0, but it’s not much anyway). The new version of the blog will probably have no ads. I mention this for the people who may think flickrbabes exists because we want to make profit out of it. It’s not like that.
Again, if you can think of a better way to credit the authors of these photos, please let us know.
